Writer in Residence Position at McMaster University

Mabel Pugh Taylor WRITER IN RESIDENCE POSITION
September 1, 2011-December 9, 2011/September 1, 2012-December 8, 2012/September 1, 2013 – December 7, 2013

The Department of English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University invites applications from Canadian creative writers for the position of Mabel Pugh Taylor Writer in Residence (position subject to Canada Council funding; terms of employment based on Canada Council guidelines). At this time, we are calling for applicants for three, non-renewable, one-term positions, one in each of the next three years. The Selection Committee will assign successful candidates to one of the three positions.

Meaningful Words: A Playwrights Reading Series at TheatreBooks

Join some of Canada’s greatest playwrights as they read from their work! This is an opportunity to meet a wide range of writers, hear exciting work in progress and get interactive with professional playwrights. The readings will be followed by a question and answer period and an opportunity to mingle with the artists.
